概要: 骨芽細胞とは

骨組織において骨形成を行う細胞を骨芽細胞 obsteoblast という (参考: 骨の概要)。骨の表面に並んで存在し、まず類骨 osteoid と呼ばれる構造を作る。この類骨にカルシウムが沈着して骨になる。

間葉系幹細胞 mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) から分化する。
